The Fran Behind Frantone

99% of the people who end up on this site are, to put it lightly, pedal nerds, effects geeks but I’ll bet most of them have never heard of Fran Blanche, the innovator behind Frantone pedals, making effects by hand since 1994. Including doing all her own silk screening, making circuit boards, you name it. Her pedals made it into the rigs of some pretty notable musicians including Lou Reed & R.E.M.
